Local police and RCMP in Prince George have arrested six teenager and young adults, earlier this week, over the charges of assaulting and sexual assaulting two men, one of whom rests in serious condition at a hospital while the other still recovers from the incident.

Reports show that the authorities received an anonymous tip through a phone call on Monday, saying that a man has been seriously assaulted and is now wrapped up in a snow bank. First respondents and police reached the crime scene, i.e. the 1600-block Juniper Street, and discovered an unconscious male teen lying in the back alley of the apartments. The victim was quickly shifted to the nearby University Hospital of Northern B.C., where doctors confirmed that the victim had suffered from forced assault and brutal sexual assault. Another young male victim was also found from the scene, who was assaulted by the same culprits, though it is not confirmed whether the two victims were related.

During investigation, the police acquired five search warrants resulting in six arrests of teens and young adults, who were charged with assault and sexual assault. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that victims were targeted by luring them to Juniper Street apartment building, where they were cruelly assaulted by the six suspects. The suspects include an 18-yearold man, a 20-year-old woman, along with three other male teens and one female teen, all of whom are scheduled to appear in court for hearing later this week. While updating about the investigation, Cpl. Craig Douglass admitted that “this is a very disturbing investigation.”
