At approximately 5:50pm on Tuesday the 22nd of January 2013 a single vehicle collision occurred on the westbound lanes of the 3200blk of McKnight Blvd NE.
A white van driving westbound on McKnight Blvd NE for reasons unknown veered right and exited the roadway while negotiating a left hand curve. The vehicle travelled across the grassed shoulder and rolled before coming to final rest.
The driver was ejected during the rollover. The driver was transported by EMS to hospital where he was pronounced deceased on arrival.
Speed and Alcohol do not appear to be factors in this collision. Seatbelt usage is being investigated as a factor.
