Police are concerned for the welfare of a 25-year-old male who has been missing from the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in Whitby since Monday.
Concerned staff members at Ontario Shores reported the male missing to the police and we are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating this male.
Troy Simpson, age 25, was last seen at the south Whitby hospital at 4:00 p.m. on February 4, 2013 but did not return from his privileges.
He is described as a male, 6’ tall, about 220 lbs, with light brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans, blue hoodie, white running shoes and a grey jacket.
Troy has limited financial resources and based on phone calls to the hospital, may currently be in the Brockville or Ottawa area.
