A former mayoral candidate, Sarah Thomson, has accused Toronto’s Mayor, Rob Ford, of making “inappropriate comments” and touching her wrongly her at a fundraising gala on Thursday night. Ms. Thomson alleged that the mayor was “completely out of it” at the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC) event. She even further reveled that “he grabbed my ass,” and “that’s not the Rob Ford I know. I was a little shocked.”

Soon after the CJPAC party, Thomson published a post on her Facebook page, along with a photo of herself and Ford, saying: “thought it was a friendly hello to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford at the CJPAC Action Party tonight until he suggested I should have been in Florida with him last week because his wife wasn’t there. Seriously wanted to punch him in the face. Happy International Women’s Day!” Ford was actually seen last week at Pearson International Airport, along with his wife and children, while the family allegedly headed out to Florida. Ford spoke to the media at the airport, sharing that he was taking the “little ones” to Walt Disney World.

Ford has not had commented or defended himself from the allegation so far, although he did posted on Twitter on Friday morning, asserting that he had a “great night meeting some wonderful ppl @CJPAC action party.” Thomson justified her allegations later, by claiming that “I’ve defended Rob Ford and that’s why I’m so pissed off right now. I’ve stood up in meetings and I’ve defended him on Facebook…but you have to draw a line.”
