The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 16 year old female, Tara Amos. She was last seen on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the downtown area of the city.
Amos is described as: Aboriginal, 5’6” tall, 260 pounds, with short straight black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls baseball cap, grey parka, black t-shirt and black Jordan running shoes.
The Winnipeg Police Service considers Amos to be a child in need of protection as she is at high risk of being exploited or victimized and investigators are concerned for her well-being.
Update: Tara Amos has been safely located.
