Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9627 Buffum about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday (April 3).

The victim, Chordario Detwuan Brothers, 24, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Racus and Senior Police Officer J. Sosa reported:

Mr. Brothers was preparing to take his girlfriend to work and, as he walked out of a residence, he was confronted by two armed male suspects. The suspects shot Brothers several times and then fled the scene on foot.

The suspects are described only as two black males.
