The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public for help in locating a suspect in connection with 13 outstanding warrants stemming from the alleged sexual assaults of four minors. In spite of extensive efforts to locate John Edward Beaver, 53, he remains at large.
“We’d like to give closure to the families and the children victimized by this suspect,” says Det. Leanne Kilb with the Child Protection Section. “While the photo police have of the suspect is dated, we know that someone in Alberta will recognize this man and will know where police can find him. We believe that the suspect is transient which has added to the difficulty in tracking him down,” explains Kilb.
John Edward Beaver is wanted on multiple warrants on the following charges: sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

– significantly pock marked face.
