Six people charged in connection to murder investigation of Toronto man Edwin Villon

On Sunday, September 16, 2012, at 7 a.m., police responded to a call for unknown trouble in the Martin Grove Road/The Westway area.

It is reported that:

− police located a man, suffering from trauma to his body, on the lawn of a house

− he was pronounced dead at the scene

The victim has been identified as Edwin Villon, 33, of Toronto.

A post−mortem examination determined the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.

On Thursday, April 4, 2013, six people were arrested in connection with this homicide investigation.

Michael Seecharran, 22, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. First-Degree Murder
2. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine
3. Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

Karla Garcia-Woltke, 41, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. First-Degree Murder
2. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Patraj Seecharran, 42, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Accessory to Murder After the Fact

Claudia Garcia-Woltke, 36, of Maple, has been charged with:

1. Attempt to Obstruct Justice

Lazaro Carias-Caseros, 31, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Jenny Sorto Garcia, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

The accused are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, April 4, 2013, room 101.
