Houston man Cornelius Richardson found deceased at 3320 Hitchcock Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 3320 Hitchcock about 4:30 p.m. on Monday (April 22).

The victim, Cornelius Richardson, 39, of Houston, was pronounced dead at ths scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer D. Fontenot reported:

According to witnesses, Mr. Richardson was seen running down the street partially nude, jumping fences and running through yards. HPD patrol officers responded to the scene and found Richardson deceased in the back yard of a residence at the above address, belonging to a family that does not know him. He had no apparent signs of trauma or injury to his body. According to Richardson’s family members, he was known to use illegal narcotics.

The investigation is pending Richardson’s cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
