Vancouver Police are renewing their public appeal to help find a missing 52 year old man that was last seen one week ago after he left his family home in the area of Fraser Street and Marine Drive.

Joga Dhillon left his home in the 700 block of East 56th Avenue at about 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 16th.

Joga is Indo Canadian, 5’10″ tall, 210 lbs., with brown eyes, salt-and-pepper hair and a light complexion. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black sweat pants and black shoes.

Dhillon has never left home in the past for this long without being in contact with family or friends. Police and family members are also concerned about a medical condition and his recent behaviour.

Area searches by police around his home, as well as checks of public transit, other Metro Vancouver police agencies, taxi companies, and local hospitals, have failed to turn up any sign of Mr. Dhillon.

On Saturday, April 21st, approximately 40 friends and family of Joga Dhillon searched the surrounding neighbourhoods without success for any signs of the missing man.

“We want my papa to know that we love him and miss him and just want him to come home safe,” says Joga’s daughter, Gurneer Dhillon.
