A Geary, N.B., man has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of a man at a residence in Geary on May 1, 2013.
47-year-old Harry Edward Charlie McKenna was arrested at the scene, and was charged in Burton Provincial Court on the afternoon of May 1. He was remanded in custody and will return to court on May 16.
A second man was arrested at approximately 3 p.m. on May 1, in Burton. The 24-year-old is expected to appear in court this afternoon.
Police are also releasing the name of the victim. He is 61-year-old Kirk Blair. Police say all three individuals were known to each other, and are treating the incident as isolated.
The Major Crime Unit is continuing its investigation of the murder.
