Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10910 Gulf Freeway #195 about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 4).
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His indentity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers B. Evans and T. Miller reported:
An unknown male suspect kicked in the front door of an apartment at the Cabo San Lucas Apartment complex at the above address. Once inside, the suspect demanded money from the victim. When the victim did not comply, he was shot. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described only as a black male.
