Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman whose remains were found at 6100 Frisco about 6 p.m. last Friday (June 25).

The suspect, Ruben Escobedo Juarez (H/m, DOB: 11-9-68), is charged with murder in the 185th State District Court. He is accused in the death of the unidentified female, believed to be between 40 and 50 years of age. Her identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy and notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Cisneros and Officer W. Ferguson reported:

Patrol officers were flagged down by a citizen who discovered the remains of an unknown female lying in the woods, near the 6100 block of Frisco. Further investigation and witness statements identified Juarez as the suspect in this case. He was arrested on Monday (June 28) without incident and admitted to his involvement in the victim’s death.
