In the afternoon on Sunday May 5, 2013 two campers located human remains on the west side of Arrow Lake, approximately 10km south of Shelter Bay. BC Coroners Services confirmed the identity, that of thirty-nine year old David Anthony Klammer.

On October 8, 2012 David had left his parents residence in Saskatchewan and was expected to be returning home in White Rock, BC. David was reported missing by his family on October 21, 2012.

On November 5, 2012 David’s vehicle was found to be parked on the logging road at the end of twelve mile near Revelstoke, BC. RCMP Air Services as well as Search and Rescue conducted and extensive search of the twelve mile area with negative results.

BC Coroner Services and the RCMP do not feel this death is of a suspicious nature.
