Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3300 Allen Parkway about 2:20 p.m. on Sunday (May 19).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Insitute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant B. Rogers and Officer ? Sulaiman reported:
The victim was driving a white GM Hummer H2 westbound on Allen Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck a curb and rolled over. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger, 28, managed to climb out of the vehicle. Paramedics transported her to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
