Car driver dies in a fatal single vehicle collision at Regional Road, Ottawa

The Ottawa Police Service was at the scene of a fatal vehicle collision involving a single car on Regional Road 174 west of Old Montreal Road, in Ottawa. The collision occurred at approximately 2pm today.

Regional Road 174 had been closed between Old Montreal Road and Kinsella Dr. until 8:30pm.

A 56 year-old male driver received fatal injuries from the collision and was pronounced at the scene.

The identity of the driver involved is not being released at this time.

Ottawa Police Collision Investigators are investigating the collision. There is no further information at this time.
