Colchester County RCMP are releasing the name of the passenger who fell from a moving vehicle on Saturday morning. 

At approximately 12:38 a.m. May 25th, RCMP Colchester County received a report of a male who fell from a moving vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle with five occupants was traveling northbound on Highway 2 in Alton from Stewiacke to Truro. The 26-year-old male passenger climbed out of a window, trying to get onto the roof and fell while the vehicle was moving. The male was seriously injured at the time and succumbed to his injuries in hospital yesterday. 

The victim has been identified as Jonathan Brenton McIntyre, 26, of Airdrie, Alberta. The investigation is continuing.
