The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) Homicide Section continues to investigate the death of a senior found dead in his apartment suite on Wednesday.
The man has been identified as Lawrence Semeniuk, 67.
While the results of the autopsy are pending toxicology results, the death will continue to be investigated as a homicide.
Downtown Division patrol members responded to the address near 117 Avenue and 95 Street at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, after receiving a call reporting the discovery of a deceased male.
Officers found the circumstances in which the body was discovered to be suspicious. The scene was secured while homicide detectives and forensic investigators were called in to investigate.
