Fall River pick-up driver dies in a fatal single vehicle crash near Bridgetown

RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash near Bridgetown.

This morning, 10:40 a.m., Annapolis RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Exit 22. A pickup truck traveling eastbound left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, a 65-year-old man from Fall River, died at the scene. The name of the driver is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. The Medical Examiner’s office is assisting with the investigation. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
