Ottawa man Michael J. Brown charged with several counts on child pornography

On June 14, 2013, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) charged an Ottawa man with child pornography related offences. 

The charges are part of an undercover child luring operation stemming from the United States. 

As a result, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence earlier today. Three laptops and four desktop computers were seized. 

Michael J. Brown, age 50, of Ottawa is charged with: 
Four Counts of Luring a Child by Computer 
One Count of Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child 
One Count of Possession of Child Pornography 

Brown will appear in court tomorrow.
