A man has been charged after a search by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit on June 19 in Halifax.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., ICE investigators conducted a search of an apartment in the 5500 block of Black Street. Officers arrested a suspect without incident and seized a computer.

Twenty-five-year-old Thomas Anthony Eisan has been charged with possession of child pornography, making available child pornography, unsafe storage of a firearm and breach of a court order. He appeared in Halifax Provincial Court yesterday and was released under conditions to not communicate with children under the age of 16, not possess a device able to access the internet and not be within 25 meters of a place frequented by children. He will be back in court on September 4.
