Four men charged for breaking into cars in the Ottawa region

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The Ottawa Police have laid in excess of 40 criminal charges against six males for their participation in recent thefts from unattended vehicles in the Kanata area of the city.

Ilias JAFAR, age 18 and Sherif RADWAN, age 19, both of Ottawa, were arrested on July 7, 2010 and jointly charged with six counts of Theft and six counts of Possession of Stolen Property.

A third male under the age of 18 has been charged with six counts of Theft, six counts of Possession of Stolen Property and one count of Take Auto Without Owner’s Consent.

A fourth male, age 17, was arrested on July 9, 2010 and charged with Possession of Stolen Property.

As a result of a separate incident on July 9, 2010, Jacob BELCOURT, 18-years-old, of Ottawa and Alex FAOUAZ, 19-years-old of Perth, were arrested and jointly charged with Trespassing at Night and Attempt Theft.

All persons have been released from custody pending future court dates.

In all cases, the offenders targeted unlocked vehicles in residential neighborhoods for Global Positioning Devices (GPS) or for any other articles of value left unattended in the vehicles.
