A 29-year-old woman was touched inappropriately in a portable washroom at Lakeview Park in Oshawa during the Canada Day celebrations.

On July 1, 2013, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the woman entered a portable washroom near the Jubilee Pavilion. The lock on the door was broken so she had to hold the door closed with her hand. An unknown male entered the washroom and held his hand over her mouth, demanding she stay quiet. He then touched her in an inappropriate sexual manner. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was scared and didn’t immediately notify police of the incident.

The suspect is described as: male, white with tanned skin, in his 30s. He was approximately 5’ 10” to 5’ 11” tall and 180 lbs., with a medium build. He had short brown hair, a goatee and was wearing a dark blue or black shirt and black shorts that went down to his knees. He has a tattoo on each of the fingers on his right hand.
