Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit made a third arrest in connection with the 2010 homicide of 27-year-old Donald Chad Smith.

On October 23, 2010, officers responded to a building on Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth for a report of a shooting. The victim, Donald Smith, was shot while making a pizza delivery and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Shortly before noon, a 26-year-old man, formerly of Dartmouth, was arrested at an undisclosed location outside the province. He is currently being interviewed by investigators. Earlier this morning, investigators arrested two men in connection with this homicide. They are still in custody and being interviewed.

Investigators are confident there are people who know information about Donald Smith’s homicide who have yet to come forward.
