Suspect Adrian Samarron charged with manslaughter in a fatal traffic incident at 10000 Friendly

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal traffic accident at 10000 Friendly about 7:15 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 12).

The suspect, Adrian Samarron (H/m, DOB: 10-25-93), is charged with intoxication manslaughter and accident involving injury in the 209th State District Court. 

The male victim, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Usher and Officer B. Mark reported:

Suspect Samarron was driving a black Nissan Frontier pickup truck when he ran a stop sign and struck a gray Toyota Corolla, killing the driver. Samarron and the pickup truck’s passenger both fled the scene on foot, but were located nearby by HPD patrol officers.
