Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are currently investigating the Region’s seventh homicide for 2013.
On Friday, August 23rd, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police officers and EMS attended a residence on Pitch Pine Crescent, Mississauga for a report of a male not breathing. The victim was found in the home and was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy was later conducted at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Unit in Toronto. The death, which was originally treated as suspicious, has now been deemed a homicide.
The victim, 41 year old Caleb Harrison of Pitch Pine Crescent, was last seen alive by friends in the early evening hours of Thursday, August 22nd. Homicide investigators are interested in his movements that evening and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or spoken to him in the hours before his death.
