Albert Gildo Lomoro and Michael Dejames Biar charged with robbery in Winnipeg

On Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at approximately 8:45 p.m., a 46 year old male victim was walking through the parking lot in the 400 block of Kennedy Street, when he was approached by three males. After a brief conversation, the suspects began to physically assault the victim, including one suspect who produced a knife and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The victim suffered injuries to his upper body as a result of this assault, and did not require any medical attention.

Winnipeg Police Service Division 11 Uniform Members responded and while investigating the incident observed the 2 of the suspect males in area and arrested them without incident.

Albert Gildo LOMORO, 33 years of Winnipeg, and Michael Dejames BIAR, 31 years of Winnipeg have both been charged with Robbery with a Weapon, and have been detained in custody.

This investigation is continuing and a further arrest is pending.
