Peel Regional Police 21 Division officers advise that a Warrant has been issued for Assault and Utter Death Threats for 51 year-old Sasenarine Etwaroo.
Mr. Etwaroo assaulted his wife sometime in May 2013, and uttered death threats against another victim on Wednesday September 4, 2013. Mr. Etwaroo has been living illegally in Canada at his wife’s Brampton residence.
Sasenarine Etwaroo has a lengthy criminal history both in Canada and the United States. The suspect was previously deported to Guyana in 2012 and while using an alias entered into Canada illegally in 2013. There is also an outstanding Canada-wide immigration warrant out for this individual.
Etwaroo is described as male, tanned complexion, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, medium build with short dark hair, balding on top. The suspect is known to wear dark rimmed prescription glasses, however he also is aware that police are looking for him and is known to alter his appearance.
Police believe that Mr. Etwaroo is attempting to flee the jurisdiction in efforts to avoid prosecution, and will use aliases in order to do so. He is considered dangerous, we advise not to approach this individual, but rather contact your local police service.
It is an offence under the Criminal Code of Canada to assist a person who is known to be wanted by the police. Anyone found harbouring, aiding or abetting Mr. Etwaroo could face serious criminal charges.
