Houston man Carlos Sosa dies in a fatal shooting incident at 7003 Bissonnet

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7003 Bissonnet about 3 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 8).  

The victim, Carlos Sosa, 24, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. French, Senior Police Officer T. Miller and Officers D. Fontenot, R. Nunez  and L. Wright reported:  

Mr. Sosa and a friend were standing in the parking lot of the Oaks on Bissonnet Apartments at the above address when they were approached by two unknown male suspects.  One of the suspects then produced a gun and demanded their personal property.  At some point during the robbery, Sosa was fatally shot by the suspect.  Both suspects then fled toward Fondren in a gray, four-door, older model sedan of unknown make or model.  

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males with bald or shaved heads.
