The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a historic Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– between 1977 and 1980, a now-44-year-old man was sexually assaulted by his lacrosse coach on several occasions
On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, Robert Hastings, 49, of Mississauga, was arrested.
He is charged with:
1) three counts of Indecent assault on a male
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, October 28, 2013.
Robert Hastings worked as a lacrosse coach, since the late 1970s, in Etobicoke and Mississauga.
Police believe there may be other victims.
