Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1400 block of the North Loop (North Interstate Highway 610)about 5:35 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 15).
The victim, Rico Bell, 28, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Thursday (Sept. 19).
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Acevedo and Officer L. Ho reported:
Mr. Bell was driving a white Chrysler 300 eastbound in the 1400 block of the North loop when he lost control and went off the roadway. He was transported to the hospital where he later died from trauma received during the accident.
The investigation is continuing.
