Edmonton police search for missing disoriented man Patrick Musanganya

The Edmonton Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an adult male who was reported missing and may be disoriented.

Patrick Musanganya was reported missing to police at approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2013. He was last seen on Wednesday afternoon at his residence near 119 Avenue and 125 Street.   

Family members are concerned for Musanganya’s well-being because he suffers from a brain injury and functions at a lower level, which makes him dependent on his family.

Patrick Musanganya23, is described as a Black male, approximately 5’ 6” tall, weighing approximately 150 lbs., with a scar over his left eye.  He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black and white vertically striped shirt and possiblt a blue hoodie. He is new to Edmonton, and only speaks French or Swahili.

Police continue to actively search for Musanganya. 

Update: Late last night staff members at a local shelter recognized the missing 23-year-old male reported missing on Wednesday. The Edmonton Police Service Downtown Division members responded to the location and returned him safely to his residence.
