The Hamilton Police Service have arrested and charged a Hamilton man alleged to have accessed and possessed child pornography from the internet.
On October 2nd, 2013 members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit along with members of the Technological Crime Unit, Vice and Drugs Unit and Patrol officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Sanford Avenue in the City of Hamilton after receiving information from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) regarding an individual alleged to be sharing videos/images of child pornography on the internet. The investigation was initiated by a division of the German Police who then forwarded the information to Canadian authorities.
Charged: Kenneth McGean 41 yrs of age of Hamilton

Accessing Child Pornography
Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation with a detailed forensic examination of the computers and devices seized from the residence.
The 41-year-old Hamilton man was held for a bail hearing.
