Vancouver elderly woman pedestrian dies of a fatal struck while crossing Earles Street at Euclid Avenue

A pedestrian struck in East Vancouver two days ago has now died.

At 6:30 a.m. on Monday, October 7th, the 72 year old Vancouver woman was crossing Earles Street at Euclid Avenue when she was struck by a car driven by a 38 year old man.

The woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. She died last night as a result of the injuries she received in the collision.

Officers with the Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision, but speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
