Police continue to investigate a shooting in the 7200 block of Victoria Drive that has left one man dead.
At about 12:30 am, police responded to the Fraserview area neighborhood for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found a man in the backyard of a home suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 32 year old victim was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after.
Detectives with the VPD Major Crime Section are now investigating. The victim is known to police and the attack appears targeted.
