Ottawa Police investigating about a sexual assault incident on Chapel Street

The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Sunday, October 27, 2013. 

At approximately 3:40am, a young woman was approached by a male on Chapel Street just north of Laurier Avenue East. The male initiated a conversation and then touched the victim inappropriately. The victim struck the male and he fled the area. The victim suffered no injuries. 

The male suspect is described as a black male, in his early 20’s, clean shaven and short hair, medium build, and was well dressed in jeans. He spoke with an English accent. The male was possibly intoxicated.
