Sarann Nop arrested on weapon offences in Hamilton

 Hamilton Police Service has charged a 26 year old Hamilton man with numerous handgun offences following a Hess Village disturbance. On Thursday August 19th, 2010, at approximately 2 a.m. Hamilton Police responded to fight on a licenced patio. Police intervened and arrested a male suspect, who was then taken into police custody.

Following the release of the suspect it was learned that the suspect had concealed a semi-automatic handgun within the rear of the police cruiser. Hamilton Police ERU, Gangs and Weapons Unit, and Division Two patrol, later located the suspect at an east Hamilton address, where he was arrested without incident.
