Two Quebec individuals die in a fatal double vehicle collision at Belledune, N.B.

A two vehicle collision in Belledune, N.B. has claimed the lives of two people from Quebec.

On November 11, 2013, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Belledune RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Belledune.  A man and woman from Rimouski, Quebec, travelling together in one vehicle, died as a result of their injuries.  A woman in the other vehicle from Eel River Crossing, N.B. was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates that road conditions were poor at the time of the collision causing one driver to lose control of their vehicle and collide with the other vehicle.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.
