Hamilton police charged brothers John Josipovic & Mato Josipovic with first degree murder

On November 18th, 2013 at approximately 12:30 p.m., brothers, John Josipovic (50) and Mato ‘Michael’ Josipovic (47) were arrested for the murder of James ‘Louis’ Malone, which occurred on November 9th, 2013. John and Michael Josipovic will be appearing in court this morning to be formally charged with the First Degree murder in the slaying of Mr. Malone.

Simultaneous search warrants were executed on the adjoining residences of John and Michael Josipovic in the Grimsby area by members of the Hamilton and Niagara Regional Police Services’ Emergency Response Units. The entries were conducted safely and without incident.  John Josipovic was arrested inside his residence while Michael Josipovic was located at his place of employment in Milton. Investigators will return to the residences again today to continue searching for further evidence.
