The report to the Sandy Hook investigation has been released but the motive behind the incident is still unclear. The investigation officials and the prosecutor who led the investigation could still not determine why Adam Lanza killed his mother and shot 20 innocent children. State’s Attorney Stephen Sedensky III said there is no clear indication as to why Lanza chose Sandy Hook Elementary School as the area for his mass killing other than the fact that it was close to his home.

Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting is considered the deadliest shooting in United States history. The shooter was identified as Adam Lanza, a 20 year old, who killed his mother before opening fire at the elementary school and later killed himself. The body of Adam Lanza’s mother was found at their residence in Newtown. Lanza killed 20 first graders and six adults present at the elementary school on December 14, 2012.

Victoria Soto, a teacher at the elementary school, was shot during the incident, while she saved and shielded her students. The statement from her family describes their grief. ‘While others search for the answer as to why this happened, we search for the how. How can we live without Vicki? How do we celebrate Christmas without Vicki? How do we go on every day missing a piece of our family? Those are the questions we seek the answers for. There is nothing in the report that will answer those for us.’
