Police continue to search for a 17 year old West Kelowna boy after he was reported missing earlier this month.
On November 11, 2013 at 8:50 am, the West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a missing teen from a residence on the 3600 block of McIver Road West. Daniel Schmidt (17) apparently left his home at around 10 am the previous day with no known destination.
Schmidt has a history of going missing and is known to use drugs and alcohol. He has since been seen by several people recently in Kelowna and police believe he is frequently at the Orchard park Mall and the Queensway Bus Loop. Despite these reported sightings, police need to speak with Schmidt directly to ensure he is safe.
Schmidt is described as:
– Caucasian
– 6′ tall and 140 lbs with a slim build
– Black hair and brown eyes
