RCMP are on scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash on Highway 102 near Exit 5A.
At 1:47 p.m., RCMP received a call about single vehicle crash inbound on Highway 102. As a result of a crash, a male was trapped under the vehicle and died due to his injuries. A female was removed from the vehicle with life-threatening injuries but died at the scene. The highway is down to one lane inbound and the outbound lanes remain open.
Police urge motorists to use caution and expect delays. A RCMP traffic analyst has been called in to assist investigators. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
