Suspect Victor Ramos charged with manslaughter

On Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 2:08 a.m., police responded to a stabbing call at Richmond Street East and York Street.

Officers attended and located a 19-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital via emergency run but was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Rameez Khalid, 19, of Toronto.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2013, police announced that Emanuel Lozada, 22, had been arrested and charged with Second-Degree murder and that Victor Ramos, 21, a fifth suspect in the homicide, was still wanted.

On Monday, December 9, 2013, Victor Ramos surrendered to police at 51 Division. He was arrested and has been charged with:

1. manslaughter

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10 a.m.
