On Sunday, December 15th, 2013 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to an industrial accident at a metal fabrication business on Imperial Drive in Hamilton after reports a child being injured. The child was at the business with a family member at the time of the accident. Investigation revealed that a large piece of metal fell on the child causing severe trauma. The 9-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Ministry of Labour was notified and responded to the scene. The Hamilton Police Division Two Detectives continues to investigate
