Codiac Regional RCMP have arrested a Riverview man following an overnight standoff with police.

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on December 31, 2013, police received a complaint that there was a man with gun threatening to harm himself and possibly others. He was alone at his residence on Manchester Street in Riverview.  At approximately 6:25 a.m., a 33-year-old man was arrested by the RCMP Emergency Response Team.  No one was injured in the incident.

It is anticipated the man will appear in Moncton Provincial Court later today.
