Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8200 Harrisburg about 12 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 13).
The male victim, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roberts and Senior Police Officer S. Gaona reported:
About 7:45 p.m. on Monday, the victim’s body was found in Brays Bayou at the above location.
Further investigation and evidence from the scene determined the victim was possibly struck by an unknown vehicle while riding his bicycle northbound on Harrisburg and, as a result of the crash, landed in the bayou.
