Peel Regional Police Homicide & Missing Persons Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 36 year old male.
Ernest Guinto a resident of Mississaugawas last seen at Square One by a family member on December 29, 2013.
Ernest Guinto is described as male, Asian, 36 years of age, 5’7”, 170 lbs, with a heavy build, long black hair shaved at the sides, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red hoody, dark jogging pants and light brown Timberland boots.
Peel Regional Police continue their search for Mr. Guinto. Information gathered to date by investigators suggests that he may be trying to avoid persons involved with criminal activity.
Due to the suspicious nature of Mr. Guinto’s disappearance and the possibility that he may have met with foul play.
Despite no one having seen or heard from Mr. Guinto for over two weeks, investigators remain hopeful that he may have gone into hiding, though that possibility becomes less likely as time passes. It’s known that he was very close to members of his immediate family and the fact that he hasn’t contacted them to alleviate their concern is extremely unusual.
Update: Investigators believe Mr. Guinto was in the area of 55 The Esplanade, Toronto, during late December, and may have associated with a white male. Investigators are seeking information on the identity of this male.
