The Chatham-Kent Police Service is confirming that the body of a deceased man was found this morning near the Courthouse in Chatham.   

This area has been secured by police as a Coroner, detectives and forensic officers examine the scene. 
 
The identity of the man is unknown at this time.
 
Update: The Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the body found this morning near the Courthouse in Chatham.

 
Just before 8:30 a.m. police discovered the body of a deceased man.  A Coroner, detectives and forensic investigators attended the scene.  The body was removed and taken to University Hospital in London for a post-mortem examination.  At this time, foul play is not suspected. 
 
Police have confirmed that the found body is that of missing person David Gordon Round, 29 years of Chatham.  The family requests that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.
