RCMP responded to an excavator accident on private property in Middleton.
At approximately 12:58 p.m., Colchester District RCMP responded with assistance from Tatamagouche Fire Services and EHS and found a 69-year-old man deceased. The man died after being trapped between the bucket arm and body of an excavator.
The matter is being turned over to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
