Robert drive resident Lawrence Herve Francoeur charged in relation to a child pornography investigation

A man faces charges after a search this morning in Dartmouth by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

Earlier today, ICE investigators conducted a search of a residence on Robert Drive. Officers arrested a suspect without incident and seized computer equipment. This investigation was conducted in cooperation with the Provincial RCMP ICE Unit

Fifty-three-year-old Lawrence Herve Francoeur has been charged with making available child pornography and possession of child pornography. He was released under conditions to not communicate with children under the age of 16, to not access the internet other than for work purposes and not be within 50 meters of a place frequented by children. He will be back in Dartmouth court on March 25, 2014.
